School Parliament 2017

The election of 2017 School Parliament leaders was held in Week 8. The candidates from Year 5 were democratically voted on by their peers and staff alike. The Year 5 candidates campaigned prior to the election and we were all very impressed with the standard of each candidate's speech.  There were 13 candidates and voting was close, with the 8 highest voted students receiving a 2017 Parliament position.  The remaining candidates will become Shadow Ministers to assist the School Parliament in 2017.

Harry Dodd:             (Leader of Opposition)

Maddie Collins, Mitch Hollis, Ryan Taylor, Tahlia Hall, Gabby Fozzard:  (Ministers)   

The induction into Parliament and announcement of Ministerial Portfolios will be held early in 2017 at a Special Assembly with an invited guest speaker.
