Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
I feel very fortunate to lead Beechwood Public School, a place that means a great deal to me. I was once a student here myself in Kindergarten and Year 1, and now my wife and I are raising our three children in Beechwood. This connection to the school and community makes my role as Principal both a privilege and a responsibility that I take to heart.
My leadership is grounded in the belief of Unconditional Positive Regard — that every child deserves respect, care, and high expectations. I am deeply committed to student wellbeing, equity, and pastoral care, ensuring that all students feel a strong sense of belonging and the opportunity to succeed.
Working alongside our dedicated staff, families, and community partners, my focus is on creating a school environment where students thrive not only in their learning but also in their confidence, resilience, and compassion. At Beechwood, we want every child to feel proud of who they are and excited about who they can become.
As a leader, I believe in being approachable and visible. Whether it’s greeting students at the gate, celebrating achievements in the classroom, or working with families to support individual needs, I see my role as building trust and strong relationships. By working together, we can make Beechwood Public School a place where every child has the best possible start and every family feels welcome.
